Johnny WasBob Marley
Composição: Rita Marley
Woman hold her head and cryCause her son had been shot down in the street and diedFrom a stray bullet
Woman hold her head and cryExplaining to her was a passer-byWho saw the woman cry
Wondering can she work it outNow she knows that the wages of sin is deathThe gift of God is life
Oh, oh, oh, ohJohnny was a good manoh yeah
Woman hold her head and cryCause her son had been shot down in the street and diedJust because of the system
Woman hold her head and cryComforting her I was passing byAnd I saw the woman cry
She cried, oh, oh, oh, ohJohnny was a good manNever did a thing wrong
Take it down
Johnny went out on a Saturday nightNever hurt anybody never started no bar room fight
Johnny never did nobody no wrongNever hurt anybody never hurt anybody
Johnny was a good manJohnny, Johnny, Johnny...
Johnny was a good man(Repeat)
In a top floor flat in the middle of the nightThere's a man with rifle and Johnny in his sight,I said oh no, we can't let that kind of thing happen here nomore
Oh noJohnny, Johnny, Johnny...
A single shot rings out in a Belfast night and I said ohJohnny was a good man
Can a woman's tender careCease towards the child she bears
Johnny (Repeat)

Hi, actually he was a good man. Unfortunately, as you know, the african brains I likely to be silenced.
We have lost a man that could be contributing for the country´s development in his field, but....he was short dead, for asking important questions to improve the fight against theft/corruption.
Unfortunately!
